Chaka Khan

Chaka Khan is a famous American artist and singer. Her name is also her popular nickname, the Queen of Funk. Her total number of Grammy awards is of ten Grammys over her entire career spanning more than fifty years. Billboard named her the 65th-most popular dancer of all time. Her grandmother introduced her to jazz while she was an infant. She began her career by singing in various groups. In the end, she was a part of the group Rufus. The album she released was her debut in the band around the age of twenty. The group was awarded their first Grammy prize a year later. A few years later, she issued her first album an artist on her own. Over the years, she has released a few additional albums like "Echoes of an Era", "The Woman I Am" and a song called "Funk This". Alongside her music contributions, her charitable work has gained her a lot of recognition. Chaka Khan Foundation was established to help children from poor families and those with autism.
